Baby Nicole

Wishing all Muslim Readers a Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri!

My first niece, Baby Nicole is already 3 months old and this week is her first visit to her mother's home.

She woke up before 9am & i was asked to babysit her for half an hour while my sisters & bro-in-law went out for breakfast! *sweat*

I think i am pro with kids cos she did not cry while i entertained & carried her! =)

And soon she fell asleep comfortably after getting changed.

During her visit, she also get to shave her head. May you have long pretty smooth hair just like me. =)

Oooh, u are so cute! Love u, Baby Nicole!

What i've bought this week (pictures credit to respective blogshops):

Across the Bloody Universe (ATBU) - Metallic Rosette Dress in Indigo Blue
I have a soft spot for rosettes and i love the design. Indigo Blue is a really unique colour, definitely suitable for wedding dinners/functions. No tummy showing but right undies are necessary to avoid VPL. It fits me just nicely. Loving it! I am a Uk 8/10.

Lovebonito - Sequined Toga Dress in Lavender & Blue (BO) SOLD
Edit: Boy, this is mad gorgeous! The ruches hide tummy & material is thick! Really chic looking & pretty! U gotta own at least one of this!

I will be leaving for Sabah soon & will update space about Kota Kinabalu next weekend. Will let you all know the restaurant to get good seafood! The restaurant is really huge with many different concepts. =) All my cousin's weddings are held there cos we knew we can get good quality food as it's partly managed by my relatives.

Can't wait to see the soon-to-be-wed couple & eat all the good food. xoxo ♥

Balenciaga we like

If you are looking for a red balenciaga (inspired that is) but is afraid of how the colour will turn out. I have something just right for you...

I wanted to get my red balenciaga-inspired from thepurseheaven  since there are so many good testimonials on the bags from that blogshop, but it was out of stock and i happened to come across Mameemoo.

Please note: Actual colour of Mameemo's bag is closer to this pic (below) & this font colour:

The price of the bag from both blogshops are quite similiar, just that Mameemoo is 50cents more expensive and both shops import the bags from Korea.

And from the actual pictures thepurseheaven's customers took of their balenciaga, the bag looks identical to the supplier's pictures which were shown at Mameemoo's website. So i decided to give Mameemoo a try.

And oh boy, the actual product is drop dead gorgeous. The red is deeper just like this font colour, but not maroon-like.

The material is fabulous & overall weight is light (as compared to HVV's Balenciaga-inspired). Made of soft, non-shiny & non-plastic-feel artificial leather. The quality is really good, definitely worth my S$55 (reg mail). It comes with a shoulder strap which is non-adjustable & a mirror.

The inner lining is in maroon and it gives the bag a really expensive look.

Supplier's picture:

My picture:

There is a side zip (shown above) and in the center of the bag there is another zip compartment. Thus the bag is very spacious & roomy.

It also comes with 2 side pockets (shown below):

The other thing which i like about the bag is the colour of the metal & studs. It looks silverish black.

Please refer to Mameemo's website for better pictures. The bag i've received is identical to the supplier's pictures.

I am indeed satisfied with my purchase from Mameemo & delivery was fast. I ordered in mid august & I received the bag before end of August. Loving it!

Note:
- I am honest in my review and this is not an advertorial.
- I do this review in benefit of potential buyers/customers.
- I am not paid/bride/given free goodies for this review. I paid everything for it.
- All supplier's pictures credit to mameemoo .

And what I've purchased this week (pictures credit to respective blogshops):

Lovebonito  - Tweed Cropped Jacket in Black SOLD & Chiffon Ruffled Blouson in Cream
Major Disappointment on the quality. Not worth the amount spent! The jacket feels like beggar's rug, it's so damn rough & there are lots of loose threads. It doesn't look expensive at all, looks more like $10++ material. The Blouson material is so thin, with that material why does it cost S$28? Sigh.

Catwalkclose - Classic Work Dress (Floral Splash) (BO)
I love the prints but i do have a similar one from BC. But it's so vibrant looking, i couldnt resist.

That's all folks! One more weekend post & I am off to Kota Kinabalu with my bf! xoxo

Bonitochico's 4th Birthday Bash

Heavy Image Post
5 more days to my birthday!

Before i begin, in my opinion, Bonitochico bash wasn't what i expected. I took no pay leave for yesterday ($90/day) & paid $15 for the ticket, it's really not that worth it.

Joined the queue with twiny before 1.30pm and only managed to enter Zirca at 3.30pm. The door isn't even open at 2.30pm! An ang moh came up to a lady in the queue & asked what the queue was for. The lady hesitated for a while & said, "fashion show". The ang moh replied, "and U ALL queue for that?!" and started laughing. Yes, we feel like a joke queuing for it.

The event was too short to use up the 2 drinks coupon and the venue is rather small. It was so congested and those who were sitting have their view blocked. Those who were standing may not see clearly too.

Catwalk is the main programme and I guess we paid to see the preview earlier and know about lovebonito beforehand. The clothes weren't that fantastic but my favourite category is Glitz & Glam which featured dresses suitable for dinners, dinner & dance, etc. Well, there is always room for improvements. =)

It was good being able to take a picture with the BC ladies. Rachel is really very friendly. I like!

A picture with my twiny inside Zirca, Clarke Quay.

And what i wore to the bash.

Top from Mugigae, Bugis Junction. The receptionist at the bash asked whether my top was from BC. I asked twiny whether anyone asked her the same question. I would have been on stage if it was a BC top.

And the goodie bag everyone received.

It consists of the flower pin ( above - can be a hair clip as well). A balloon (below):

A booklet and there are some preview for their upcoming launch on 30 Aug in lovebonito.

I like the first top. The 2nd dress is Karen Millen dress which Viola wore to Nuffnang award. (if anyone needs a bigger pic. Do drop me a comment with ur email. :) )

Sticky candy. Look at the close up picture - it reads Bonito ♥ Chico.

LoveBonito Lanyard

Various vouchers and Essential Anti Frizz Serum.

After the bash, Twiny treated me to a dinner at Ma Masion, The Central @ Clarke Quay. It served Japanese western food.
The interior of the restaurant is really cosy and english.

And these were what we had for dinner:

And i saw this while having my meal. BC balloons in the air ~

This was passed to us after all the food has been served. We used it to check out at cashier.

Right after that, we decided to pamper our poor feet with classic pedicure at Nail Palace after all the long queuing in the afternoon.

Exhausted but satisfied.

I definitely enjoyed my packed saturday with my best friend. =)

And what i bought this week (So HAPPY that i only bought one stuff), Balenciaga inspired bag in Greyish Green from Moo Moo Bags. Hope to receive it soon! ♥
