When the going gets tough, the tough get going.

*Ahem* Thanx to friends who care, colleagues, strangers and family members for the private messages, comments, poll results, twitter messages, phone calls and casual chat at work.

It makes my tough journey easy to walk on. It's really confusing when I said all the bad thoughts at him, and at the end he appreciated it and still kiss me. Gosh, how weird is this?

Moving on, i got these Nivea "Natural Beauty" product samples from Rare fashion when i bought my floral bustier dress from online. I tried using the eye cream (centre sample) and surprisingly it works wonder!

I've been trying on different eye cream, eye gels of different brands. In fact, more expensive brands than Nivea but there wasnt much result. And when i used the eye cream sample, it lightens my dark eye circles and rings pretty much. It also brightens my eye area =). Would recommend it if you guys wanna try something cheaper as an alternative, but at the moment i am unsure whether Singapore has this Nivea product range, Natural Beauty. Definitely worth buying it!!

What i've bought in the past few days. *Pictures credit to respective blogs*
Hollyhoque: Old English Lace Trimmed Puffed Sleeves Cardigan in White

Dressabelle: Lolita Mesh Tu-Tu Dress. I love the mesh overlay at the skirt portion and it's just nice for my 1.66m height.

Bonitochico: Miss selfridge inspired printed tubedress (navy blue):

joined backorder for BC Mesh-overlay-satin frock in Navy Blue on Pink,Chic Romper and Chiffon V-back top in Lavender:

What i like about the Chiffon V-Back top is the sweet lavender colour and the low back:

Backorder for BC clothes are still open and will be closing on 24 March. So if you like what i've shown, you can drop by to BC website for more.

What would you do if you were me?

The week has caused me so much emotional pain, I wish my heart could stop beating.

Tell me, dear readers and strangers, what would you do if you were me?

I had scoliosis ever since primary school. Lucky for me, it was painless, i'm not physically impaired or had obvious bend/twist in my body. The only thing is my right hand shoulder blade is slightly protruding.

No matter what i wear or how straight i stand, from the back and side view, it looks like i'm abit hunched.

Because it's not a major problem, i was discharged from the frequent checkups and was not given any braces.

I met my guy in 2008 and he was fine with my condition. However, after visiting his hometown his neighbours and family started to gossip about my back & condition. And he cant stand the stress, comments and stares.

So eventually, he cant accept my condition as he claims that it looks ugly. I knew there are no cures for it since my condition is minor. Our relationship became rocky in mid 2009 till today with the fact that he still cant accept me for whatever i am.

He will be accompanying me to a TCM specialising in bone next Tuesday. Somehow, i know what the practitioner will say. And i know, it will decide on the fate on my relationship.

Should the relationship ends here? If you were me, would you let go and stop the emotional heart pain?

I thought loving someone is to accept whatever he/she is made of and whoever he/she is. =(

Going forward. Just today, i started my ebay account and posted some items for bidding. You may take a look at what i've here. I hope it will bring me far and i do love E-commerce.

As expected, I only bought 2 items this week; Bonitochico's Floral Embossed Tea Frock and Victorian Cropped Cardigan.

If anyone is interested in getting the cardigan, go look for it! The quality is really good, soft and comfortable. Extremely good for our weather where it's hot and not anywhere near cold. Even my sister has one ( I have 2):

Do drop me a comment and let me know what you think about scoliosis. Or at least advise me on what a girl should do & how to be strong to move on.

March crawls in slowly..

Image Heavy Post

Time seems to passed by so slowly but my workload is stacking like nobody business.
Anyway, no work related stuff here because i want to de-stress.

In my previous post, i mentioned that my sis and i went out with our church mates last month and have a great time! So let me introduced my friends who are all Single & Available. =)

That's Julia and Mag (my sis)

Brother Joachim and Andrew

And lastly, ME!

We were heading to Ion, Orchard for some shopping and that's where i bought my topshop floral skirt . After that we had our dinner at Lu Gang Xiao Zhen:

And we ordered :

Black Pearl Soy Bean.  *Slurp*

Mee Suan

Oriental Flavor Roast Duck

My big Yummy plate of Fried Rice which i gave almost half of it to Andrew:

we ordered others too but i was too hungry to take pictures after my fried rice arrived. =p

After dinner i left the group but they headed down to Villa Bali for some drinks at night. I only went there once and they have really unique outdoor concept which reminds me of  Indonesia, coconuts, etc. You will think that you are at Bali in Singapore. Definitely a good place to chill out!

And they started playing Truth and Dare!

Hmm..how does it feels like cleaning your tongue, Andrew?

I thought my sis is showing how a chicken lays egg. But she's beating her chest trying to act like King Kong..hahaha. She's pretty good isnt it?

Because last week i was on leave for 3 working days, staying at home and accompanying my bf means buying more clothes. We went to Sentosa on Saturday to see the new stuff and play the old rides which caused me to spend too much in a day. *SOB*

I received my dispatch email from Rare today so i thought i would receive my Rare floral dress  by next week :

However, to my surprise my Post Woman arrives with the parcel. Apparently, it was dispatched since last Tuesday but Rare didnt update my status until i dropped them an email.

And when i tear the plastic package, it comes with a free Rare Shopping bag and 3 Nivea Samples (havent seen this product in Singapore yet). Maybe Lipsy should give freebies too as a collectible for overseas customers.

Nicely wrapped to protect the dress

Tata! =) It's made of 100% Cotton, No smocked back! With hidden back zip & enclosure. Material is rather thin with inner lining thus non sheer. Bone at the chest to create the corset bustier.

Best part is, Rare clothes always fit me the best! Follow their size chart and it's never wrong. ASOS and Lipsy is always too big for me although i follow their size chart.

If you are keen to buy it too, hop on down to Rare! Best part is, now they are giving free delivery for International Orders! I paid 6.50 pounds for delivery charges. =(

Last but not least, what i've bought last week and this week which most are yet to arrive:

The Shop Lifters:

Cat Walk Close:
Quite a few ladies said that it squeezes armpit fat and is tight at the chest. I think i am fatter than  them but yet it fits me to the T. So decided to buy another in Red.

I love this pink dress too. Shoulder strap is slightly longer but i can do with it. Material is really awesome and smooth. Simple, definitely wont go wrong in any occasion.

Hollyhoque
stayed awake for this collection only to be disappointed that their server crashed. By the time i woke up at 4.45am, the tops in navy & purple are sold out. I love the dressy top so much i've decided to buy 2 colours via Backorder.

Her Velvet Vase
So many ladies love this criss cross chiffon dress, bought it because it's pink. And i've got to see what's so good about it.

Amber Avenue
Yup, I know. It's yet another pink peach dress. And i felt so guilty after i paid for it...=(

Elysia
Have been eyeing on this causal dress for some time, got to buy it since it's only S$23 mailed.

Anyway, i dont think i'll be buying much for the rest of this week. Probably too stress and exhausted to surf after work. I've got too much to clear at work..damnit!

If only clearing workload is as easy as buying clothes online.. =(
