Payday Week

*wipe sweat in relief* After a hell of a month in the new section, it's finally payday! And i am looking forward to a short work week in the beginning of March as i'll be on leave from Wed-Fri.

Bought quite a couple of stuff this week and i predict i will be broke again in mid of the month.

First up, i bought a pair of earrings, Le Chatte from whimsy and magic:
(please note: your eyes are not playing tricks with you. it's the blur pictures. Mag! Pls change ur camera.)

It came in a white envelope before the brown paperbag:

Guess what? There's a special note written on it and signed off by Angel

After that, it's a zip lock package with care instructions.

She even bubble wrap the earrings several times and securely. I had a hard time tearing it apart.

I love pink clay flowers and the sweet pinkish cat. Irresistible!

On payday itself, i bought 2 dresses from Hollyhoque. Wont be able to catch me if i didnt bump into Jean in the lift. I brought the online shopping fever to my department and it feels good to share good things to the ladies. Although now i worry about wearing same dresses from popular blogshops with my colleagues.

I havent receive the above dresses but i do hope it will fit as their sizing tends to run small. I dont have the luxury of time to sell it away.

Anyway, a few days back i saw a lady in a pair of nude wedges and i couldnt keep my eyes off it. I reckoned it was from Heatwave because of the colour, its shine and design. So on Friday, i dropped by Jurong Point hoping to get a pair of open-toes heels in white.

Since i couldnt find any nice pair and i'm dying to lay my hands on the nude wedges. I decided to visit Heatwave and VIOLA! I was right! Resting on the shelf was the nude wedges. This is one of the 2 pairs of shoes which i bought on that day:

If any of your shoes bite, get Foot Glide Anti-blister. It's a wax in a form of a stick and it work wonders. Say Bye bye to blisters! You can get it at Watsons, Guardian, etc at S$15.90.

Last but not least, I went out with my sister and a group of church mates. Have a wonderful time with them though it was a short one for me. Will post up the pictures as soon as possible.

Bought a topshop skirt which sway as I swing, I love how the skirt flows and its prints.

And also a floral bustier dress from RARE. It's so much cheaper in terms of shipping fee when i purchased directly from Rare than from ASOS.

I hope my parcel will reach me safe and sound. And I do hope this time round the dress will fit me to the T. Out of 5 dresses which i bought from ASOS and Lipsy, only 2 dresses fit me well. One is a petite size ASOS dress (Kinda short but size fits well) and the other from Rare. What a pity i find my lipsy dress too big for my liking and it's not cheap to begin with.

Sadly, i have no idea when will i wear my lipsy dress.. =(

Over the weekends

It's like a short getaway this week with my parents and sis away at Malaysia for Cousin Roger's wedding. While they were away, Aunt and my bf dropped by to stay at my place.

I still remember the day Roger spoke to me over the phone:

Roger: "You want to hear good news or bad news first? Bad news first okay?
Me: Okay

Roger: Bad news, 我比你的男朋友帅!
Me: =.='' HAHAHA! Good news leh?

Roger: 我要结婚了!
Me: Really? Wow! When??...

Congratulations to the Love Birds! =)

Yesterday my boy was asking me to think of numbers for 4D. I told him i dont have any number and he came out with
5210 which we bought for S$1 big and S$1 small. Bad news, we did not win. Worst bad news of the day, my birthdate 0827 was in the starter list! Gosh! I think my bf and i feel like banging our heads on the wall! How many times can anybody's birthdate be a lucky 4D number? My Bf bought 0827 once when we just met so that he can remember my birthdate and kept the slip of 4D paper in his wallet all the time.

We celebrated our Belated Valentine's day at Sakae Sushi yesterday. Initially we wanted to go to Akira Restaurant next to Link Hotel at Tiong Bahru, but i dont know whether it will be worth his money. Just a simple dinner with no flowers or chocolates, but i still do enjoyed our time this week together.

We had a heart to heart chat over the night on our future and i know i have to save and sacrifice alot just for staying alive & enjoying in China. He dont buy flowers and chocolates (not like he never buy me those, he does but not often. And i can always buy it on my own if i want.) because they are just pleasure for a moment, he believes that if we save and work harder now..we dont have to worry for not having what we want in the future.

I signed up for casual work with Sentosa resort at NUS career fair not long ago, since their booth was just behind my company's. I do hope they call (keeping in mind the HR policy on taking 2nd job).

Anyway, no pics on what i wore yesterday but i had BC Halter Embellished top, Denim mini skirt and Odorikoya Navy Shrug:

Second day of Tiger Year

Jennifer and brother in law dropped by to our house for visiting. Let me say that it's not a norm to have relatives or love ones coming to our place, since majority of my relatives are in Malaysia.

It has been months since Jen was married and finally we get to see all the wedding photos. My sister wanted me to upload all the pictures into facebook which i did..only to realise that i uploaded an incomplete folder. But oh well, Mag told me to leave it.

The pictures uploaded to facebook isnt as clear as what i see from the CD. I can barely see my face from the facebook albums, which may be a good thing in some pictures. haha.

Chinese New Year celebration has never been interesting ever since young. But it's always up to us to decide how we want to celebrate it. Anyway, finally i got to wear my BC shoulder padded dress in red, not to any house visiting but to Church yesterday. I'll be meeting up with my ex-poly friends tomorrow and it will be my first house visiting for the year! HUAT AH!
