Spent my weekend attending Mr A's friend's baby first-month party. I love children's laughters. It's the sound of happiness..

Photobucket

Photobucket

I like this little boy, Lucas. He's oh so adorable! He even threw a heart shape balloon at me when we first met!

Photobucket

=( Handsome Lucas started crying because he wants his daddy. I swear i didnt bully him!

Photobucket

This reminds me that my niece's turning one year old really soon. And my sis sent in a new picture of Baby Nicole early this morning! =))))))
*P/S: Please note that Baby Nicole (bottom) is not Lucas (above)*

Photobucket

After the gathering, Mr A and I head down to AMK hub for a movie, Source Code, with his sister & her Bf.

Photobucket

I love movies that makes me crack my brain. It's abit like inception. Totally captivating and creative. Some scenes are quite touching. Definitely worth catching!

Just a reminder that promotion is still on at Dressy Delights!

Photobucket

Oohh, i'm so looking forward to this week cos it's finally payday!!! =)))))

Dressy Delights

Review & Advertorial

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
All pictures are properties of jasyca.blogspot.com unless otherwise stated

You know how we ladies have first tried blogshopping by buying from spree and sometimes got really frustrated that the items dont feel or look as good? And felt really cheated?

I know as I've experienced that before.

Dressy Delights - was set up by experienced online shoppers that brings you fashion from around asia.

And just for every lady out there - Fret Not! I took the effort (was really busy with the Italian exhibition this week) to meet up with one of the owners to check out the quality and tried on a few dresses.

Photobucket

The owners are really friendly and professional. They are honest to remind me that light colour clothes are sheer.

For Reference: I stand at 166cm, UK8 (tops) & Uk10 (bottoms)

A011 - Feminine Formal Dress (In Black, Grey & White)

Photobucket  Photobucket

Not your usual boring work dress. I like the fact that the dress is A-line cut and waist is tapered in to accenturate your waist line. Emphasizing on your silhouette.  Featuring lace details at sleeves and hem, V back cut & back zip.

Photobucket

Comes with an attached cute ribbon. Not stretchable and no inner lining. Non-sheer.

And my other personal favourites:

A012 - Flutter Sleeves Dress with Lacy Details

Photobucket

Worn it with a tube inside, top portion is sheer. Comes with pockets at the side! Oh so cute!

Love the lace details and flutter sleeves!

Photobucket

Photobucket

Oh, there's also a slit at the back of the dress for easy movement! Pair with flats for casual days or put on your best wedges for a day out shopping with your girlfriends!

A007 - Glittery Sleeveless Dress

Check out the bottom and how it glitters like stars under the light.

Photobucket

Length wise is too short for a 166cm tall lady. Really like it but oh well. Best fit Uk8 or below and petite ladies. Comes with elastic band at waist, with inner lining and non-sheer at bottom.

Photobucket

Slightly sheer at lace details on top. Match it with gold plated bracelets, nude heels and clutch. And ya ready to go out for a date! Dress is identical to Dressy Delights's pictures. It looks so cute and pretty!!

So far the items i have seen are closely similar to the pictures provided. Material is decent & price is affordable. No major big differences that disappointed me. The models must be petite, so read the measurements carefully. =)

Photobucket

Ooh! Shopping Rocks!! And just for my readers, you will get an additional 10% discount on top of their debut launch promotion by quoting "JasycaXie" during your purchase.

Tried, experienced and have seen by Jasyca. So shop away freely & with ease!!

Tiffany Cafe

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
All pictures are properties of jasyca.blogspot.com unless otherwise stated

Had a Monday appointment with Mr A's sister to go shopping in the noon before a buffet dinner treat from her.

What I wore:

Photobucket

My all time favourite Kimono Top which i purchased many years ago at a little shop at Tanjong Pagar. And I love my bag too from Gmarket. The material was luxe and even look expensive.

Anyway, we had our buffet dinner at Tiffany Cafe, Furama City Centre.

Photobucket

The spread was really limited and just 1 serving I wasn't looking forward to my second round.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Crayfish. It was nick name as Slipper Lobster.

Photobucket

And my all time favourite - DESSERTS! I love Eclairs!

Photobucket

Photobucket

The durian puree isnt as good as i've hoped. I still prefer M Hotel's.

I know we are not supposed to play with food but check out the mini cornetto-inspired ice cream Mr A made for fun.

Photobucket

He couldnt finish the ice cream cone, dipped it into a bowl of fondue chocolate which we took as spare and add in durian puree.

Mr A trying to look slim in the picture.

Photobucket

When I see your face
There's not a thing that I would change
Cause you're amazing
Just the way you are

Chatted and drank some yummy peppermint tea until 9.30pm before we left the restaurant. There was a 1-for-1 promotion for certain credit cards, and Mr A's sister only spent $110 for 4 pax. =) Not so yummy (and definitely not going back) but i love the company!

Thanx, Li Ming!

What i have bought this fabulous week (all pictures credit to respective blogshops):

Lovebonito - Aristocratic Pussybow Blouse (Dusty Pink)
Colour isnt as light as shown on LB. Pink is more dusty. Material is rather rough. Loves the sheerness at sleeves. Waist is tapered in to accentuate curves. Best worn tuck in with work pants or pencil skirts.

Photobucket

Hollyhoque - 3/4 Sleeves Embroidery Peasant Top (Off White), Buttons Line Up High Waist Shorts (Dark Denim) (Sz M) & Drape Over Toga Dress (Powder Blue)

I love all my HH items!

Shorts: Am a 27" at waist, hips approx 35" and i can fit into Sz M without unzipping or unbutton the shorts. Love the fit and length. Thigh area isnt tight for me. Love it so much i joined BO for Light Denim too!

Dress: The drape infront hide unsightly buldges. Material is thick & slightly stretchable. Comes with inner lining. No zip. Although i stand at 166cm, i am fine with the short length. Colour is unique! Does not squeeze armpit fats. Love it so much i joined BO for Raspberry! =)

Top: Slight sheerness and waist is tapered in to accentuate curves. Best worn tuck in.

Agneselle - Embroidery Chiffon Top (Ivory)

Catwalkclose - BO: Side Ruched Skirt (Black) (Sz S)

The Italian exhibition on string instruments and french bows was a success! Got to meet so many Singapore Symphony Orchestra players, Italian Trade Commissioners,
The Vettori Family & Bow maker - Pierre Guillaume.

Some of the bows were so expensive you can literally buy a HDB flat in Singapore. Will blog about the exhibition if time permits. :)

Have an awesome week ahead!

Life

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
All pictures are properties of jasyca.blogspot.com unless otherwise stated

I am so bored with my mudane life. It's time to go back to school!

Spent my Monday lazing around at Mr A's place. He's starting a new journey and i'm trying my best to be as supportive and understanding as possible. Sounds easy but definitely alot of sacrifices will be made along the way. I guess it's worth it...

Really love my ruffles pearl top from MDS. It's so versatile & pretty!

Photobucket

MDS - Candy Floss Pearls Top (Pink)
Agneselle - Saccharine Clutch (Nude PInk)
Cotton On - Denim Shorts
Titus & Minibits - Accessories

Anyway, Gramercy Music is hosting an exclusive exhibition on Italian String Instruments & French Bows this weekend. The Italian Violin Master Makers - The Vettori Family and Bow maker, Pierre Guillaume will be at the event!

What I've purchased this week (pictures credit to respective blogshops):

Lovebonito - Elouise Bustier (Lavender) & BO - Xandrea Shirt Dress (Navy)

Bustier: I love the colour!! Satisfied with the fit and material. Featuring elastic band around the top of the dress, thus it may squeeze arm pit fats if not properly adjusted. Comes with thick inner lining and the dress does not hug my unsightly buldges tightly. It does not come with side zip. Overall, I'm loving it!

Selling Elouise Bustier at S$12 mailed. Brand new with Tag. Interested parties to email me/leave a comment with your email. Thank You!

PhotobucketPhotobucket

Hollyhoque - Puff Sleeves Mesh Dress (Navy)
Material is thinner than i thought. It's not that figure hugging which is what i really like about this dress. So no worries on VPL. Sadly, it does not come with side zip. Loves the mesh sleeves. Perfect length and fit.  What's not to love about it?

Photobucket

MDS - Queen Of Drapes Toga Frock (Magenta) (Sz S)

Dropped by MDS outlet in PS to try the toga dress. A manufactured piece by MDS. Love the cherry colour & embellishments on the sleeves but it seems like the crystal studs will drop off easily. The sample/display pieces on the rack has missing studs. Comes with side zip which i really hate it as it's not smooth and since the material of the dress is soft, the zip will bend in a weird S shape around my hips. I have to constantly straighten the zip by pulling the dress. I would say AE's version is better, without the zip i can adjust the length and ruches better.

SELLING @ S$23 mailed. BRAND NEW.
Please leave a comment if interested.

What i've bought this week (pictures credit to respective blogshops):

Agneselle - Waterfall Top (Lilac)
Need to introduction. An addition to my collection & I'm loving the colour. Tube top with anti slip and does not come with straps. Personally i prefer the tops with shoulder straps.

Photobucket

MDS - Candy Floss Pearls Top (Pink)
Self collected this top & i love the ruffles. Can be worn off shoulder, toga style, etc. Very versatile & comfortable. Definitely worth every cent.
