I'm really surprised to receive an email from The Jewel Box yesterday. Although it's nothing special but it sure feels good! Read about my Sky Dining Experience Here.

I will be back in Year 2011 with my weekly updates. At the mean time, enjoy the festive seasons with all your loved ones! And i shall enjoy my mini hiatus with my family & Mr A! =) Nothing beats family bonding!

What i bought this week (all pictures credit to respective blogshops):

Lilypirates - Giselle's First Dance Dress in Ash Lilac (Sz M)
This dress is love! It fits me snugly and i must say the cutting is on the smaller side.
Material, design and the details just rock! It comes with bone to give the bustier a corset like effect. Featuring back zip and slight flareness at bottom. I love the colour!

MDS - Skater Mini In Black
A high waist mini skirt. Stretchable at waist & comes with 2 side pockets. Really good to match with all your tops. =)

Lovebonito - Chaste Grecian Maxi in Purple
My first ever maxi.  Ever seen i saw my cousin's maxi dresses from Australia, i dont find any of the maxi dresses available in blogshop pretty. But this definitely caught my sight. I love the pretty purple and embellished at waist. Comes with side zip and padded bust. Love the silky feeling of this maxi! Perfecto!

Before I end, do check out jasyca.livejournal.com which i'm selling away some brand new BC/LB clothes. More items will be added later.

All orders come with free Reg Mail unless otherwise stated (valid till 02 Jan 2011). Just drop me an email or leave me a comment here with your email add. =)

Have a Happy Holiday!

Happily Ever After

Heads Up: Looking forward to a short week & a long weekend (Monday is also my off day) ahead!

Pictures are properties of jasyca.blogspot.com unless otherwise stated

This week has been pretty awesome!

Firstly, I was surprised to receive emails from Cozycot that I won a $280 worth of vouchers from Asian Skin Solution for participating in a survey.

And Door Gifts from their 9th Birthday Bash for successfully inviting friends. Thank U to all who registered through my link.

Secondly, am glad to receive a greeting card & the special discount from Hollyhoque! =) Thank U!

Lastly, my secondary school mates & I attended Jialin and Linus's wedding lunch yesterday at Four Seasons Hotel.

The food was quite bad. Honestly, Mr A can cook better! Anyway, i enjoyed the company of old friends and as usual we started snapping away with the camera.

Me in Lolliepopbestie - Camelia Inspired High Collared Workdress
Yventually - Black Balenciaga Inspired Clutch

All the ladies present for yesterday noon. We have a group of 10 ladies during secondary school, including the bride & we always hang out together. =)

Check out the bride's maxi dress from Australia! I was like her fashion consultant giving her opinions and advices. And we settled on this maxi dress in Mint.

Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Linus Tan! We Love U! Keep in touch!

And what I splurged on this week (all pictures credit to respective blogshops):

Hollyhoque - Dreamy Pleats Chiffon Dress in Blurple
Chiffon used is extremely smooth & soft to the skin. I love the unique shade of purplish blue. It looks purple on HH's website but it's not. It has blue tone in it.

PreLoved: Selling @ S$10 mailed. Interested parties to email me/leave a comment

MissFayne - MF Two Tiered Toga Top in Rum Pink
Material is really good & soft. Loves the mix of toga and frills. Fit is good too.

Lovebonito - Sparkle Ballerina Flats in Gold (Sz 39), Panache Chiffon Workdress in Peach Pink, Twinkle Tank & Paramount Key Bustier in Mint (Sz M)

Flats: Nice shoes but seems like it's kinda expensive for a pair of flats. Sz 39 is slightly huge for my feet though i follow my C&K sizing.

Workdress: Pretty number to own but material is thin. I can see through the bottom under normal lights when i stood with my legs apart. Bottom is not very tight fitting. Length wise is rather short for me as a workdress. I stood at 166cm.

SELLING @ S$20 mailed. Brand New with Tag
Interested parties to email me/ leave a comment.

Twinkle Tank: I love the sequined. Make a simple tank top looks pretty enough but i think this top is really too expensive.

Bustier Dress: This dress is lovely & sexy. I love the cross bareback. Have a hard time with the zip & i find the dress too long for my liking. Overall, still worth it.

Selling @ S$10 mailed. Brand New.
Interested parties to email me/leave a comment.

Lilypirates - Bows & Mistletoe Dress in Champagne Nude (Sz M)
I love the colour but sadly the material is thin. Ptp is quite loose on me too. Overall, dont think it's worth the amount spent. =(

Selling @ S$10 mailed. Brand New.
Interested parties to email me/leave a comment.

Runwaydiva - Chiffon Layered Dress in Purple
Material is really good, comes with anti-slip. Dress enhances bust area with its beautiful neat pleats. I prefer to wear it as tube. Love the purple!

Selling @ S$10 mailed. Brand New.
Interested parties to email me/leave a comment.

Kristineyunny - High Waist Side Ruffle Skirt in Crimson Wine & Indigo Blue (Sz M)
Material, Fit & Cutting - Perfecto! The side Ruffles are so unique and ruches on skirt helps minimizes exposure of tummy. Length can be adjusted and does not rides up. I love the unique colours! My mum is loving it too! Even caught someone oogling at my outfit when i wore it out to work. Skirt is slightly stretchable so watch out for the measurement. =)

Me in Indigo Blue piece.

Mr A will be free to accompany me throughout the festive period. Super Happy!

Wishing all my readers an advanced Merry Joyful Christmas! :)

What i wore to the wedding.

Black Cropped Blazer - Hype boutique (scroll to bottom for review)
Grunge Tube dress in Crimson - Lovebonito
Pearl & Crystal Accessories - Diva & Chomel
Black quilted bag - randomn blogshop

Check out the stunning purple Christmas Tree! I love PURPLE!

Dinner was pretty good. I love the Crispy Golden Chicken with Prawn Mousse! *slurp*

Going home was our biggest headache, so hard to get a cab in Orchard. :(

Mr A dropped by on Sunday to present me with an angelic bunny & a bouquet of flower.

Check out Angelic Bunny's birth cert & her name - Jasyca. =)

We spent our first Christmas in advance at The Jewel Box, Sky Dining

Dinner & registration begins at about 6.10pm but we arrived half an hour early as per instructed. Mr A started snapping away with my camera and here are some pictures we took while we wait for dinner to begin.

Me in Sweetheart Chiffon Tube Dress in Wine from Catwalkclose
Black Balenciaga Inspired Clutch from Yvenutally.

We have our first and main course served in the cable car and the dessert in Sapphire Resturant as per requested just in case we got dizzy with the rides.

The waitress asked us for our beverages preference during registration. Champagne or Cocktail for 1st course, Red or White Wine for main course and coffee or tea for dessert.

Mr A suggested Champagne & we were given it right before we step into our cable car.

1st Course - Seasonal Potage soup served with Bread and Smoked Salmon served with Asparagus.

The soup tastes like Broccoli and it's saltish. But it's really good when tipped with the bread. I love the smoked salmon!

Mr A & I were all satisfied with the 1st course!

Enjoying the scenery & taking pictures while waiting to reach Mount Faber for our main course.

Main Course - Pan Fried Cod Fish (with Potatoes, mashed potato, mushrooms & vegetables) served with red wine.

I love the mushrooms and potatoes! Do note that the serving for main course may not be enough for someone who eats alot.

Check out some artistic pictures Mr A took.

Look at the awesome sun set view!

Our desserts - Gelatin Cheese cake served with mixed berries. It tastes more like melted cheese but i enjoyed it!

The ambience in Sapphire  was great! I love the candle light setting, the mood it brings out was different from that eating in the cable car. The cool night wind is so lovely & the soft christmas music set you feeling Oh-so-good! Perfecto!

We finished our dinner at about 7.45pm. And Mr A bought me a small souvenir from Jewel Box Gift Shop. =)

Overall experience was awesome! Totally worth it! There were no motion sickness in the cable car. The ambience, scenery and food was good. We get to see the sun set, beautiful lights including Vivo City Christmas Tree from Mount Faber & a mini live performance by a Singapore Idol Finalist.

I truly recommend everyone to give it a try & do have your dessert in the restaurant because by then it's already dusk. The change in environment, ambience and the whole view in Sapphire seems so much better at night.

I love my Sky Dining experience on 12 Dec 2010!  What are you waiting for?

And what i got over the weekend (pictures credit to respective blogshops):

ATBU - Oxford Blazer in Puce (Sz M) & Aztec Dress in Sapphire Blue (Sz S)
Blazer: Pretty colour & awesome material used. Sleeves look better when fold up. I took Size M and it's a tag too big on me. Oh well~

Dress: Workmanship & material is luxe! I love the colour, it's so stunning! Dress comes with straps but it doesnt look as nice with it.

Lilypirates - Divine Temptress Dress in Serene Creme & Dinner Blue (Sz M)
A simple dress but stunning enough with its low V back cut and short flare (but not exaggerating) bottom. Material is quite good and i am surprised that there were no mesh underneath the skirt to create the flareness. Non sheer but upper portion of the dress is rather thin. Simple is always beautiful!

Hype - Cropped Blazer in Black
I really appreciate the Hype team for allowing me to self collect the blazer at such last minute arrangement as i need it for wedding dinner on that night itself.

Material is luxe! Comparable to those you see in brick & mortar shops. Blazer is slightly stretchable and comes in black inner lining. Workmanship is superb too! An extra button is also provided. Blazer is designed & self manufactured by Hype and i am surprised to see that it was made in Korea. =)

Cropped Blazer (matched with LB Grunge Tube Dress) as seen below:

Check out the tag. As if i just bought it from some brick & mortar shop.

Catwalkclose - Tailored Chic Blazer in Olive Taupe (BO)  SOLD
My best friend told me that this blazer's fit is really good and comfortable. So ya, I have been contemplating for a few days and i think it's worth it.

Lovebonito - Sequined Toga dress in Red
Ended up with 3 colours of the same dress - Red, Blue SOLD & Lavender. And i have yet to wear any of it.

ASOS - Pleated One Shoulder Bodycon Dress in Black
Loves the pleated trimmings and good for covering unsightly fats. Hope to receive it soon & hope it fits fine.

It's gonna be another awesome weekend this week! Wedding lunch at Four Seasons Hotel on Sunday & Mr A will be around to accompany me on my Monday off. =)

Anyway, have a heavenly week ahead!
