Evolution of Online shopping

I am glad that there's something coming up in Singapore's Business IT industry. I like Ecommerce but Singapore market is too small and brick and mortar shops do not have website that supports e-basket, unlike US or UK.

I was introduced to online shopping in Nov-Dec 2008 after i came across my friend's blog which shows a dress she has bought. Honestly, once you've started buying you will soon be addicted to buying online, many live examples around.

As time passed by, blogshop owners became well-to-do and popular, and they upgrade their blogshops to websites with ebasket. To name a few, hervelvetvase and hollyhoque.

And now, soon to be launched Asia-Pacific Online Shopping Mall - Jipaban. The all time favourite, Bonitochico will be launching some exclusive clothes there (means no BO).

I wonder what is so special about Jipaban and what will Singapore's evolution of ecommerce going to be like in a few years time? I wish i will be the first few to know...

As usual, I end my post with what i've bought this week:

Got instocks for the following:

Indulgescenes - First time buying from them. Bought Floral Ruffle Top for just S$18 mailed! It was initially sold at S$23.50 mailed for members only but few days later they had a members sale ! =) The fabric is good, design and prints worth my S$18. But i had to meet the owner yesterday to collect it as she sent me a wrong item. Features tie back and drawstring at waist:

Agneselle - Got this bustier dress in pink by impulse. I am a uk8-10 and this dress is super loose on me, it can fit a big uk10 for sure. Bust area is neither tight nor low cut as compared to the popular grecian dresses. The straps are real long, i dont think it has anything to do with my shoulders. So ladies who have small frame or wears UK8 and below...please dont get this dress unless you dont mind altering.

Other than that, the material is good and it looks pretty! Non sheer but seamless undies advisable.

Foggiare - English Rose Dress in grey. It was once available in nude, wanted to get it but decided not to. So i cant miss this dress again. Causal & sweet! Stocks still available in grey & black.

Material is soft, comfortable and slightly stretchy. Good for causal days and the hot weather in Singapore. Velvet tie back so that one wont look preggy in it.

Look at their self-designed envelope. So unique & there's a 5% coupon too! I wish i can help some interested blogshops to design unique envelope. If only my friends own blogshops..

Lastly, Ribbon Clogs in PINK from Yventually.  She's selling the cream but may open pre-order for pink. I was lucky that the supplier has the pink in my size. =) Pretty!

The only BO i joined this week belongs to Bonitochico. I joined a total of 11 BOs and none of it are here yet! So frustrating especially on Hollyhoque. Waited for 2 months and the vintage lace sleeved top hasnt arrive!

Knit Off-shoulder top in Pink & Acid wash tulip skirt! It must be lovely~

Taking my Off in Lieu on 12 May with Mr bf & Mag. =) Gonna spend quality time with my loved ones! ♥♥♥

March crawls in slowly..

Image Heavy Post

Time seems to passed by so slowly but my workload is stacking like nobody business.
Anyway, no work related stuff here because i want to de-stress.

In my previous post, i mentioned that my sis and i went out with our church mates last month and have a great time! So let me introduced my friends who are all Single & Available. =)

That's Julia and Mag (my sis)

Brother Joachim and Andrew

And lastly, ME!

We were heading to Ion, Orchard for some shopping and that's where i bought my topshop floral skirt . After that we had our dinner at Lu Gang Xiao Zhen:

And we ordered :

Black Pearl Soy Bean.  *Slurp*

Mee Suan

Oriental Flavor Roast Duck

My big Yummy plate of Fried Rice which i gave almost half of it to Andrew:

we ordered others too but i was too hungry to take pictures after my fried rice arrived. =p

After dinner i left the group but they headed down to Villa Bali for some drinks at night. I only went there once and they have really unique outdoor concept which reminds me of  Indonesia, coconuts, etc. You will think that you are at Bali in Singapore. Definitely a good place to chill out!

And they started playing Truth and Dare!

Hmm..how does it feels like cleaning your tongue, Andrew?

I thought my sis is showing how a chicken lays egg. But she's beating her chest trying to act like King Kong..hahaha. She's pretty good isnt it?

Because last week i was on leave for 3 working days, staying at home and accompanying my bf means buying more clothes. We went to Sentosa on Saturday to see the new stuff and play the old rides which caused me to spend too much in a day. *SOB*

I received my dispatch email from Rare today so i thought i would receive my Rare floral dress  by next week :

However, to my surprise my Post Woman arrives with the parcel. Apparently, it was dispatched since last Tuesday but Rare didnt update my status until i dropped them an email.

And when i tear the plastic package, it comes with a free Rare Shopping bag and 3 Nivea Samples (havent seen this product in Singapore yet). Maybe Lipsy should give freebies too as a collectible for overseas customers.

Nicely wrapped to protect the dress

Tata! =) It's made of 100% Cotton, No smocked back! With hidden back zip & enclosure. Material is rather thin with inner lining thus non sheer. Bone at the chest to create the corset bustier.

Best part is, Rare clothes always fit me the best! Follow their size chart and it's never wrong. ASOS and Lipsy is always too big for me although i follow their size chart.

If you are keen to buy it too, hop on down to Rare! Best part is, now they are giving free delivery for International Orders! I paid 6.50 pounds for delivery charges. =(

Last but not least, what i've bought last week and this week which most are yet to arrive:
*all pictures credit to respective blogshops*

The Shop Lifters:

Cat Walk Close:
Quite a few ladies said that it squeezes armpit fat and is tight at the chest. I think i am fatter than  them but yet it fits me to the T. So decided to buy another in Red.

I love this pink dress too. Shoulder strap is slightly longer but i can do with it. Material is really awesome and smooth. Simple, definitely wont go wrong in any occasion.

Hollyhoque
stayed awake for this collection only to be disappointed that their server crashed. By the time i woke up at 4.45am, the tops in navy & purple are sold out. I love the dressy top so much i've decided to buy 2 colours via Backorder.

Her Velvet Vase
So many ladies love this criss cross chiffon dress, bought it because it's pink. And i've got to see what's so good about it.

Amber Avenue
Yup, I know. It's yet another pink peach dress. And i felt so guilty after i paid for it...=(

Elysia
Have been eyeing on this causal dress for some time, got to buy it since it's only S$23 mailed.

Anyway, i dont think i'll be buying much for the rest of this week. Probably too stress and exhausted to surf after work. I've got too much to clear at work..damnit!

If only clearing workload is as easy as buying clothes online.. =(

Payday Week

*wipe sweat in relief* After a hell of a month in the new section, it's finally payday! And i am looking forward to a short work week in the beginning of March as i'll be on leave from Wed-Fri.

Bought quite a couple of stuff this week and i predict i will be broke again in mid of the month.

First up, i bought a pair of earrings, Le Chatte from whimsy and magic:
(please note: your eyes are not playing tricks with you. it's the blur pictures. Mag! Pls change ur camera.)

It came in a white envelope before the brown paperbag:

Guess what? There's a special note written on it and signed off by Angel

After that, it's a zip lock package with care instructions.

She even bubble wrap the earrings several times and securely. I had a hard time tearing it apart.

I love pink clay flowers and the sweet pinkish cat. Irresistible!

On payday itself, i bought 2 dresses from Hollyhoque. Wont be able to catch me if i didnt bump into Jean in the lift. I brought the online shopping fever to my department and it feels good to share good things to the ladies. Although now i worry about wearing same dresses from popular blogshops with my colleagues.

Duo Colour Strip tube dress in Pink

I havent receive the above dresses but i do hope it will fit as their sizing tends to run small. I dont have the luxury of time to sell it away.

Anyway, a few days back i saw a lady in a pair of nude wedges and i couldnt keep my eyes off it. I reckoned it was from Heatwave because of the colour, its shine and design. So on Friday, i dropped by Jurong Point hoping to get a pair of open-toes heels in white.

Since i couldnt find any nice pair and i'm dying to lay my hands on the nude wedges. I decided to visit Heatwave and VIOLA! I was right! Resting on the shelf was the nude wedges. This is one of the 2 pairs of shoes which i bought on that day:

(pictures do not do justice to my shoes and feet)

If any of your shoes bite, get Foot Glide Anti-blister. It's a wax in a form of a stick and it work wonders. Say Bye bye to blisters! You can get it at Watsons, Guardian, etc at S$15.90.

Photobucket

Last but not least, I went out with my sister and a group of church mates. Have a wonderful time with them though it was a short one for me. Will post up the pictures as soon as possible.

Bought a topshop skirt which sway as I swing, I love how the skirt flows and its prints.

And also a floral bustier dress from RARE. It's so much cheaper in terms of shipping fee when i purchased directly from Rare than from ASOS.

I hope my parcel will reach me safe and sound. And I do hope this time round the dress will fit me to the T. Out of 5 dresses which i bought from ASOS and Lipsy, only 2 dresses fit me well. One is a petite size ASOS dress (Kinda short but size fits well) and the other from Rare. What a pity i find my lipsy dress too big for my liking and it's not cheap to begin with.

Sadly, i have no idea when will i wear my lipsy dress.. =(
