What I wore last weekend:



HH Palette of Petals Lunch Dress (Sunglow) (Sz M): Took Sz M cos of the longer length. Don't really like the non-adjustable straps but the overall design is so girly! Plus the floral prints makes it so pretty & dainty!

HVV Pixie Lace Bustier (WHITE) (Sz M): I really love this pretty lace bustier top and Sz M supposed to fit me well. However, the longer I wear throughout the day the looser it becomes at ptp and waist. Thank goodness, the bustier top didn't slip down due to the fish bone lining. Constant adjusting and pulling up is very irritating. :(

AA Avian Flirty Skirt (Floral) (Sz M): Ooo, very vibrant and cheery prints! But it seems like aztec prints are more popular for this piece. Smooth zip and really good material used. Doesn't accentuate my big hips & Sz M fits perfectly. Like that this skirt was manufactured long enough for tall girls. One of my favourite bottoms! :)

Chic Kiss Love - Fashion Uprising

Attended Chic Kiss Love event at Zouk on Sunday with my bestie. All thanks to Foggiare for giving us such a good opportunity.  :)



There wasn't anything awesome about the goodie bags except for the $120 vouchers (S$10 vouchers for each blogshop) to be used during the event only.



The prices of the unreleased items were so affordable after using the vouchers! It was such a good buy! :)

There was a catwalk show at 3.30pm but I left right after I visited Kristine, Hollyhoque & Foggiare. :)

I was utterly shocked when Kristine recalled my name. Talking about good customer service, eh? Having a huge customer base & addressing them by name. Awesome!

And what I've purchased during the event:

Foggiare - (Unreleased) Floral Denim Shorts (Sz M) + Scallop Button Top (White)



The moment I saw this unreleased high waisted floral denim shorts at the mannequin infront of Foggiare's store at Square 2, I fell in love with it.

The pastel prints are so lovely & dainty! Material is slightly stretchy and Size M fits me nicely overall. There's no unsightly V shape seen! :D

There are also vertical pop up panels/lines, most probably as a design otherwise the shorts would have look plain & normal. If you have cropped plain top/bralet, I think it will look good with this shorts!

It comes in 2 prints and Sizes S to L. Featuring side zip, belt loops and non-functional pockets at back. Really love the prints! :D



And of course a lovely scallop top to match my awesome denim shorts!




As seen above, I preferred to wear the top untucked & tied the hem into a ribbon when paired with my floral shorts.



Featuring pretty peterpan collar with crochet details, something different & unique from the other peterpan collar tops which we have seen, and a row of functional buttons for easy wearing.

A perfect match of scallop cuts & floral prints! Simply irresistible!

Hollyhoque - (Unreleased) Mesh Toga Dress



This mesh toga dress caught my eyes which was worn by Joyce (She was wearing navy) when I watched the HH video for CKL event.

Review:

I thought white looks lovely but when I tried both white & black, white doesn't really stand out. Black, on the other hand, looks very elegant.

Telling from the piece on the rack for trying, the mesh will not last long. It lose its elasticity and was out of shape. Please note that the ends of the mesh are raw cuts, my piece have scissors jagged edges.

It was sold at S$27 but after using the vouchers, I paid only S$17! Woohoo! :) Still Worth it!

Features: 
It's Free Size and comes in White, Black & Navy. Featuring elastic band at back with no zip. M-shaped bust with anti-slip, covered by mesh which was supported by non-adjustable double straps.
Ruches at waist area.

Length is slightly above my knee, probably 32.5"-33" in length.

Growing Up with Nicole Pie

Niece Nicole turned 2 years old recently.

I still remembered that last year, her mum (a hardcore Doreamon Fan) bought a Doraemon birthday cake since Nicole was still too young to decide what character she likes. And half hoping that her daughter will grow up loving the robot cat.




But not so surprising for kids these days, Nicole loves Barney!


So at the age of 2, instead of another Doraemon cake we have Barney & Friends! Hmm, i am wondering what cake we will have next year.



Happy Birthday Nicole Pie! We all love you lots!

Love it so much that I got it in 3 different colours. All the accessories are of excellent quality & worth the price!



My floral rings (shown below) which i posted on my previous blog posts are equally chio! :)





Anyway, recently I've bought some eye make-up items from Heroine Make & it's really good.



I am no make up expert, but the "Kiss Me Heroine Make Smooth Liquid Eyeliner" doesn't smudge against water & serum which is of great help to me as my problemtic left eye tears alot and i have to dab it frequently. After a long day, my eye make up still looks fresh. Major Love!



Oh ya, irl i looked like i am wearing fake eyelashes (the more natural kind) but in fact it's the wonders of "Kiss Me Heroine Make Impact Frame & Curl Mascara"! Wee!



Lastly, haven't visit Gary from Salon Vim for quite some time now. I am still so in love with my fringe & long hair. But it's definitely time to visit the man with the magic hands soon! :)

Love Bonito - Reeves Romper (Sz S) SOLD
A comfy & light weight romper, perfect for summer & current humid weather. No inner lining and Sz S fits me snugly at waist & ptp, but I believe Sz M will be loose. Kinda expensive for a thin piece of fabric but the anchor prints are oh-so-cute!

Maybelline New York Party

Attended Maybelline New York Event at Zouk on Friday night. It was stated that the first 600 arrivals will receive a goodie bag, so my friend & I headed down to Havelock road right after work and even ta bao Mos Burger.



The door opens at 7.30pm and we reached 5 mins before 7.00pm. We were shocked to see that there was no queue (unlike any LB's events which i've attended) & surprisingly we were the first 2 to arrive.



In fact the employees for the event have more people than those in queue by 7.30pm.

Anywayyy, we have free soya ice cream from Soyato.



Got to try all 3 flavours in mini scoop - Cookie Explosion, Salted Butterscotch & French Vanilla. Yummy! I like the salted butterscotch. And picture taking with the mascots.



So there was phototaking with the male models (like those in H&M), catwalk, short interview with the founder of Nylon Magazine and of course the only most fascinating part which (finally) caught the attention of both genders - Half naked muscular male models.

Hollyhoque - Metallic Plate Gold Necklace & Contrast Stitch Denim Shorts (Pumpkin/Blue) (Sz M)

Necklace: Worn the necklace to Maybelline Event on Friday Night. Loves how chic it looks when paired with the bustier dress (picture above). Length can be adjusted.

Shorts: Mr A & I love the contrast stitch shorts in Pumpkin! A new addition to my shorts collection & the colour is gorgeous & outstanding. Material wise is so-so. As it's raw trim edge, there are quite a number of loose threads after a day of wearing. My waist measurement is 27", hips is 17.5" and i took Sz M. Overall fit is snug and length is shorter than my usual.

Bought the deal at only S$100. Such a good buy! Hopefully it is as good as it claimed to be. Yet to receive item. Just checked that the deal is still on for another 10 hours. Hurry!
