Went for a photoshoot yesterday at Cosmoprof Makeup Academy. A group of undergraduate makeup artists were working on their portfolios which they would have to show to their clients in future.

My makeup artist did a total of 4 styles out of which I've modelled two, Bridal (Day) and Fashion (Cheongsam).

I am so madly in love with this GORGEOUS wedding gown! It fits me to the T and was actually bought online by the artist!



Featuring lace and pearls on the gown. Fitted at bodice and a fish tail at bottom. Not telling where the gown was from, but if I did you wouldn't even believe it!

Not forgetting the hairstyle which I thought it looks alittle Victorian.



Final touch up before the photoshoot which the photographer took about 20-30 pictures.



The models have to lower our chins so much so that our faces looked sharper and smaller in the pictures. Haven't seen the photos and hopefully it looks great!

Cosmoprof uses the same make up brands as those used on the ladies at Miss Universe.

Anyway, for Fashion (Cheongsam) I've actually brought my personal dress from Love, Bonito Covet Label. It's way too short actually but I love the breath taking back!

Heatwave Online: Suede Peep Toe Pumps (Orange & Black) (Sz 8)
So in love with the quality, stability and design of this pair of shoes that I bought it in all 3 colours! Colour for orange is more accurate to heatwave picture.





HVV: Paddington Lace Skirt (White) (Sz M)
Surprisingly, white is really non-sheer and material is awesome! Size M fits me well and i like it that this high waist skirt has a longer length.





TheBlushinc: Lira Victorian Lace Shift Dress (Wisteria) (Sz S)
Loves the matching belt and the unique shade of Wisteria. Delicate crochet details on bodice and perfect length for work! Sizing runs bigger, so I sized down and it fits perfectly.



LB: Ledea Dress (Periwinkle) (Sz M) + (BO) Blanche Blazer (Violet) (Sz S)
Size M is slightly loose on ptp and waist. :( So afraid that Sz S will be tight though. Don't understand why sometimes LB sizing is running bigger than what was stated. Anyway, the colour is so rare and it comes with a structure cotton kind of lining. So pretty!

Pretty Clothes Which Makes Me Happy

Attended Mr A's ex-colleague's Baby Shower at Tampines last saturday. Took us more than an hour travelling by bus from West to East. Couldn't get any worst when we missed the bus stop of Eunos MRT Station! The bus stop seems so far from the station itself, barely can see the station while in the bus! Boohoo! :(

My outfit to the event in TVD's Abstract Tulip Lantern Dress (Lavender)






Really love this dress very much! The prints & the lovely colour complimented my fair skin & it stands out from the crowd. Basically you can spot me from far as it's so cheery & different from what people usually wear.

However, I am not liking the cut especially at ptp. It's loose and the arm hole is too wide you can literally see my bra cup. :( I was so self conscious & have to constantly adjust my dress. Other than that, the length and fit at waist is really good on me. Overall, still worth keeping this BEAU-A-TIFUL number!

P/S: I ♥ my matching light blue heels! :)

And highlight of that day was actually my FOGGIARE Miu Miu Inspired Quilted Kisslock Clutch!

Self collected it at Square 2 after the Baby Shower. :)

Just when I needed a clutch, I also have a sling bag & a hang bag.







I like it how this Foggiare bag comes with 2 different detachable straps, whether for work, dates or even attending functions I can always count on it. Bag like this is so versatile it makes matching so much easier!

Nicely quilted genuine calf leather and really pretty clasps which looks like gemstones. I love that it comes with studs at the base for support.





Featuring 2 side pockets and 2 zip compartments on the other side.



Although the bag looks big, the base is rather small thus not able to fit A4. However, it can still hold my essentials; wallet, tissue packets, iphone, mp3 (yes, i'm still using a mp3 player :D), keys & other smaller items.

Lesser items in a bag, lighter it is and easier to carry while walking around with it. :) Another amazing item to add into my bag collection! Woohoo!

CWC: Cassa Peplum Dress (Magenta) (Sz M)
I've so many peplum design items I feel that I'm wearing similar clothes almost everyday. Initially I was worried that the dress will be too short for work, but I was surprised that the length is satisfactorily acceptable. Material is thick too! So worth it!

SWV: Garden of Whimsy Straw Bag
So disappointed with this purchase. It looks cheap & fragile! $30 over for this is such a cut throat price! arrrghh! Don't even need to mention about the workmanship.



TVD: Meadow Vale Floral Bustier (Blue & Pink) (Sz M)
It's just another common bustier with shorter length. The fit & measurement is once again different for both pieces, almost died in the Pink piece at ptp.



Ohvola: Ditsy Polka Top (Navy) (Sz M) + BO Florent Denim Bustier (White) (Sz M)
Yet another common bustier with functional buttons in longer length. Ohvola is really thoughtful to include another clasp in between the first & second button. At least there's no need for safety pin or worry about perverts peeking inside our clothes.



Foggiare: Miu Miu Inspired Quilted Kisslock Clutch

HVV: London Times Pleat Skirt (Posy Red) (Sz M)
Honestly, HVV improves alot on the quality of their clothes & pictures. Although the measurements for this piece seems kinda weird. From Sz S (12.5") to Sz M (14") & I am a 13.5" at waist. Sz M is slightly loose. Mad love the pleated skirt which doesn't emphasize my huge hips. Length wise is perfect! Comes with inner lining. :)

Review: HVV Jive Denim Bustier

Denim material is stretchy & of good quality. Took Sz M for this piece and overall it is loose at PTP & not as hugging at the bottom. The Zip is faulty and stuck at the top for my piece. So lucky for me that I took Sz M so that i can wear & undress without the use of the zip. No smocked back & length is just nice for my liking. I really love this Denim Bustier!! The print is so nice! :))

It's so hot & humid lately, couldn't help but to wear shorts & sleeveless top over the weekends.

OTD on Saturday: Hollyhoque's Ruffles Spaghetti Top in Black

I dont think this top is worth over S$20 but i contemplated on whether to get it over  a few days before the launch so i guess for me it's a basic needs; I like chiffon & off shoulder items. Top is sheer even for black as it's just a thin piece of chiffon. Not a must have item.

Check out my ring. This is the other ring which i bought from Gmarket which was imported from Korea. 

I even bought the earrings, but I still prefer the other colour which i showcased here & will definitely buy the earrings in the lighter shade too.

Lastly, my yummy crochet heels from Charles & Keith Signature Label. Only paid S$36.30 instead of S$95.90 after i used my membership card & S$50 voucher. Mad Chio!

Hollyhoque - Ruffles Spaghetti Top (Black) & Butterfly Aflutter Kimono Top (White)

Kimono Top: I have this top in White & Navy (from previous collection). Love the sleeves & lace at bust. There are pleats details at bodice too. The white piece looks really classy but the only issue is, I thought i saw the pleats looks slightly yellowish. =(

HerVelvetVase: Blossom Crochet Shorts (Puce) (Sz M) & Avette Corporate Dress (Crimson) (Sz S)

Omg! I LOVE all my HVV items! I think they have improved alot on their quality. The crochet shorts are mad chio & material is excellent! I have the original Zara lace shorts and the material is so-so. Thus, i definitely prefer HVV lace shorts! Thinking whether i shd get the grey piece. Hmm...

Invested in another awesome work number! Everything is so good about it! I am a happy girl!

MDS: Calling All Hearts Earstuds in Silver & Picture Perfect Floral Shorts (Sz M)

Tried the floral shorts in the store and I was able to fit into both Sz S & M. Sz S will fit snugly (not tight) at hips & thighs, whereas Sz M fits comfortably. Comes with belt as shown and side zip. No side pockets and material wise is still acceptable. Shorts is meant to be worn slightly high waisted.

The Tinsel Rack: Happy 100th Denim Dungaree Skirt (Red)(Sz S)
So glad that i took Sz S based on the measurement instead of following Joyce's advise.
Sz S fits me to the T! Red Denim looks so nice! Material is thick & slightly stretchy. Comes with adjustable straps, pockets at side and a gold plated side zip. Happy!
