The italian exhibition that was held last month at Gramercy Music was a success. But i heard that the food we catered from Spice Village was even better!

Jean Luc Prevost (F&B Manager), personally cooked & prepared all the dishes for the event! The dishes WOW the Vips and everyone was talking about it ever since! Too bad i wasnt around for the food, but the pictures alone are sufficient to make me drool.

Life

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
All pictures are properties of jasyca.blogspot.com unless otherwise stated

I am so bored with my mudane life. It's time to go back to school!

Spent my Monday lazing around at Mr A's place. He's starting a new journey and i'm trying my best to be as supportive and understanding as possible. Sounds easy but definitely alot of sacrifices will be made along the way. I guess it's worth it...

Really love my ruffles pearl top from MDS. It's so versatile & pretty!

MDS - Candy Floss Pearls Top (Pink)

Cotton On - Denim Shorts
Titus & Minibits - Accessories

Anyway, Gramercy Music is hosting an exclusive exhibition on Italian String Instruments & French Bows this weekend. The Italian Violin Master Makers - The Vettori Family and Bow maker, Pierre Guillaume will be at the event!

What I've purchased this week (pictures credit to respective blogshops):

Lovebonito - Elouise Bustier (Lavender) & BO - Xandrea Shirt Dress (Navy)

Bustier: I love the colour!! Satisfied with the fit and material. Featuring elastic band around the top of the dress, thus it may squeeze arm pit fats if not properly adjusted. Comes with thick inner lining and the dress does not hug my unsightly buldges tightly. It does not come with side zip. Overall, I'm loving it!

Selling Elouise Bustier at S$12 mailed. Brand new with Tag. Interested parties to email me/leave a comment with your email. Thank You!

PhotobucketPhotobucket

Hollyhoque - Puff Sleeves Mesh Dress (Navy)
Material is thinner than i thought. It's not that figure hugging which is what i really like about this dress. So no worries on VPL. Sadly, it does not come with side zip. Loves the mesh sleeves. Perfect length and fit.  What's not to love about it?

Photobucket

MDS - Queen Of Drapes Toga Frock (Magenta) (Sz S)

Dropped by MDS outlet in PS to try the toga dress. A manufactured piece by MDS. Love the cherry colour & embellishments on the sleeves but it seems like the crystal studs will drop off easily. The sample/display pieces on the rack has missing studs. Comes with side zip which i really hate it as it's not smooth and since the material of the dress is soft, the zip will bend in a weird S shape around my hips. I have to constantly straighten the zip by pulling the dress. I would say AE's version is better, without the zip i can adjust the length and ruches better.

SELLING @ S$23 mailed. BRAND NEW.
Please leave a comment if interested.

Di Tanjong Katong

Heads down: Sigh, I am so perplexed. It's so hard to let go a serious relationship when he is trying his best to revive it. Is it wise to give it another chance? Or move forward and look for better ones? =(

All pictures unless otherwise stated are properties of Jasyca.blogspot.com

Spent 3 days in Gramercy Music Showroom at Tanjong Katong. Something random which i find it cute selling at the showroom. Guess what are these?

It's a metronome which gives out "tick tock" sound in fixed, regular beats. To increase or slow down the speed you can adjust the bow. Usual typical Metronome looks like this:

Tanjong Katong is full of unique eateries which you dont get to see in the shopping malls. Ranging from Japanese to Western and of course the famous Punggol Nasi Lemak.

I chose to try SMITHS - Authentic British Fish & Chips.

The food portion is huge and there are a variety of fishes to choose from. I had my favourite - Dory & Chips which costs S$10 nett.

The fish was so fresh and soft. It's too oily though but you get to control how saltish you want your fish to be as they dont sprinkle alot of salt on it. Thus, mine was tasteless but i refused to sprinkle more salt on it. Overall, i think it's worth the first visit. Tips: You can get chili & tar tar packs from the counter.

And of course there are other british side dishes which i didn't try like Mushy Peas which i realised was a hot favourite among the caucasians. It's green and smashed so it doesnt look too appealing to me.

SMITHS is located at 230 Tanjong Katong Road. There are alot of buses at Paya Lebar MRT/Infront of Tanjong Katong Complex which you can board. Do alight before Tanjong Katong Girls' School.

Lastly, I had an awesome Sunday trip to Johor Bahru! Checked out the cute cupcakes!

Ladybird is Jen's. Flower is mine. Doggy is my bro-in-law's. Big Bird is for Mr Er Xin. haha!

The main highlight for yesterday was the CRABS at Restoran Crab World. We had Black Pepper, Chili, Steam and butter Crabs! *slurp* I Sunday!

And what i bought this week (all pictures credit to respectively blogshops):

Hollyhoque -  Lace Chiffon Batwing Throwover (GREY) & Twist Textured Crop Cardigan (BLACK)

Cardigan: I heart HH Cardigans! The Textured Crop Cardigan is love! Design is really unqiue & material is of course awesome. Gonna join BO for Cream & my sister wants 2 colours too.

Kristineyunny - Kimono Styled Ruched Dress (BLACK) SOLD
Kristine has done it again. Material is good but Size M is quite loose on me. Featuring V cut front which isnt too low & deep V back. Dress isnt too body hugging either. =) Perfect for any occasion.

Lolliepopbestie - Topshop Inspired Bustier Top (Wine Red Florals)
I love how perfectly this top fits. Elastic Band at back is not tight thus no worries for arm pit fats.
You may adjust the tightness by tightening the lace at the side. =) Material is good too! =)

All i want is a simple love. Nothing too complicated for my weak heart. Oh ya, 5 more weeks to Christmas!

Have a heavenly week ahead!

And what i bought this week (pictures credit to respective blogshops):

Lovebonito - (BO): Suede Wedges in Cream & Bohemian Blouse in Nude Pink & (Instock) Tulip Bandage Skirt in Black
Skirt: Comfy Stretchable cotton. Comes with side zip. Choose to wear it low rise or high waisted if you're petite. Good buys!

Hervelvetvase  - Matte Dress Pumps in Pink (Sz 40) Refunded
Love how pretty pink heels can look! Yet to receive it.

ATBU - (BO) Papillon Drape Dress in Fuchsia (Sz M) SOLD
This dress looks really simple and lighter colours dont stand out. I think fuchsia looks the best & prettier on Mery, but i dont know whether i have a chance to wear it out or would i dare to?

Hollyhoque - Crochet Kimono Top (Grey) & Foursome Buttons Wrap Cardigan (Black)
Top: The top fits the model so well, but it's so loose & big on me. The slightly elastic back is really redundant. But Still, I love the top.

Cardigan: Boy oh Boy, the material is damn good! it is similar to BC's puffed sleeve cardigan. Again it's loose on me and i am a Uk8. But i love how chic this cardigan looks. =)

Sigh. Honestly, i bought too much this week. So disappointed with myself. =(
On a brighter side, i made a new friend this week - Mr er xin! =)

Have a heavenly short week ahead!
